Heard Mentality Podcast

Redefining Kitchen Culture

Heard Mentality got its name because “Heard.” is the request and response call in kitchens worldwide and ‘Mentality’ is what we are changing in kitchens everywhere – in restaurants, schools and homes. Heard Mentality has recorded its first season with some of the area’s top culinary talent sharing stories about kitchen inspiration, mental health breakdowns and breakthroughs we need to create a healthier workforce and family food systems.

Hosted by South Florida’s Restaurant Guy, John Brewer, of Social Distance & Eat Local Supper Club fame, and education innovator, Ali Kaufman, founder of Space of Mind and Community Classroom Project, Heard Mentality is leading a conversation around the need for more than just nourishment of the guests around our table but also for the stakeholders in the hospitality industry who are in the midst of an industry evolution and looking for community, creativity and compassion to redefine our kitchen culture.
